We love people - because God loves people.
Every week we meet together, both on Sundays and throughout the week, in structured and informal ways. We want to grow as disciples of Jesus, which is why we read the Bible and meet to encourage each other. As a community, we also have fun! Sports and social events are a regular thing.
Sunday Meetings »Every Sunday, Unichurch meets in a lecture theatre on campus for church. We do this to encourage each other and hear from God as we open his Word. We sing, we pray and we hear the Bible taught. After church everyone's invited as we go for dinner nearby. |
Weekly Small Groups »The Bible is God’s Word to the world. Believers and those wanting to investigate Christianity are all welcome in coming to hear what God is saying from his Word and thinking together about how to live in response to what he is saying. We've got heaps of different groups running you can join, so get in touch. |
Camps and Conferences »Each year there are a number of conferences which we either run ourselves, or attend as a church group. Mid-Year Conference, National Training Event, and the Unichurch Weekend Away are the big ones. |
Social EventsWe like hanging out together. Some students prefer dressing up for the Unichurch ball. Some students like to get sweaty during early morning runs or playing sports. Whatever type you are, there's always something on. |
TrainingWe want to make the most of our precious years at University and prepare to serve God for the rest of our lives. So we have a whole range of training events and programs which run to equip people theologically and practically for ministry. |
MissionariesOur community extends beyond the campus. We support missionaries the Church Missionary Society. We regularly hear updates and pray together for them. |
